FOUNDATION STAGE LEADER (Maternity Cover)

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to move into leadership. We are looking for an excellent teacher to become leader of our Foundation Stage during maternity leave. Our Foundation Stage is a key part of our school and the successful candidate will therefore also work in partnership with our Senior Leadership Team and be part of our whole school leadership and improvement.

This is an exciting time for our school. We are expanding to four form entry and are making plans to move into our brand new school. Our school is a welcoming and caring community with happy, motivated children. Our four Foundation Stage teachers work closely as a team, supported by committed and well-trained LSA's. We are judged as Good and want to be on our way towards Outstanding.

We therefore need someone who is:

• Experienced in teaching the Foundation Stage

• An excellent practitioner

• Enthusiastic, energetic and creative

• Passionate about children and their learning

• A team player

• Able to foster positive and supportive relationships with our children, staff and parents

• Committed to inclusion

• Keen to sustain high expectations of achievement and behaviour

• Approachable and has a sense of humour.
