Maltings Academy is an oversubscribed specialist Sports and Science Academy in Witham, Essex. We have a state of the art building offering fantastic facilities for both students and staff alike. Maltings Academy is a key member of Academies Enterprise Trust (AET), a multi-Academy sponsor which aims to provide the opportunity for all young learners to fulfil their real potential, broaden their horizons and become active, prosperous and successful citizens in the world around them.

We are looking to appoint a Midday Assistant to join our supportive Facilities team, working in a modern and outstanding building. You will be helping to maintain the safety, welfare and good conduct of our students during the midday break and undertaking cleaning in and around dining areas. You will support our 'discipline with dignity' approach to foster a supportive and friendly atmosphere.

The successful candidate will be able to maintain a safe working environment, be able to work well as part of a team and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The hours of work are 1pm-2pm, Monday to Friday, term time only.
