Are we the school for you?
We are seeking an enthusiastic and capable colleague to join our happy team as soon as possible. This is a temporary post supporting a named pupil with learning and development issues in Year 1 for 20 hours per week, covering morning and afternoon sessions, term time only. The successful applicant will support the pupil in a class based situation as well as leading on an individualised programme of work supported by the class teacher and SENCO. There will also be an induction programme available to support the transition into our school.
Ideally you will have:
* recent experience of working within the Infant age range, particularly EYFS;
* a relevant qualification;
* good communication skills;
* strong organisational and behaviour management skills;
* a good understanding of speech and language development;
* experience of supporting a child with special educational needs;
* and a commitment to meeting the needs of all pupils.

Hatfield Peverel Infant and Nursery School is a two form entry established school in the village of Hatfield Peverel and has easy access to the A12 and a train station within walking distance. We have a wonderful team of staff, Governors and supportive families who all help the children to be safe and happy. It is our aim to make sure that all members of our school community are supported and feel included and valued.
