NET Academies Trust require an outstanding Finance Manager to support its Harlow group of academies. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and ambitious individual to play a pivotal role in the development of the Harlow academies cluster.
This is a unique opportunity to join a forward-thinking, well respected and expanding trust, which is committed to leading excellent practice and innovation within the rapidly changing educational landscape. The Harlow cluster of academies currently includes five primary schools. Under the leadership of a visionary Executive Headteacher with a proven track record in school improvement and a Senior Leadership Team committed to making a difference and achieving the best possible outcomes for our pupils. The role will provide essential support to the Director of Finance in the financial planning and financial management of the Trust. Key duties will include assisting with all the academies annual and three year budget plans, overseeing the month end processes, producing monthly budget and cash forecasts, producing management reports with variance analysis for Trustees.
The Trust is seeking a highly motivated AAT or CCAB qualified finance manager with a strong background in financial and management accounting. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in academy finance as well as excellent communication and people management skills. Consideration will be given to finance professionals from outside the sector who are suitable qualified and can demonstrate a genuine interest in education.
