We are looking for a Senior Nursery Nurse/EYP to join our dedicated
and enthusiastic EYFS team as soon as possible
(Monday to Friday 8.30 to 11.45 then 12.15 to 3.45pm – 33.75 hours per week,
39 weeks per year plus holiday entitlement)
Judged as ‘Good’ in all areas (Ofsted January 2013) come and help us be Outstanding!!
Are you a passionate and energetic early years practitioner? Are you committed to supporting young children to learn through play? Do you have a secure knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage?
Responsibilities will include:
• Ensuring children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment
• To have a positive and constructive approach to behaviour management
• To carry out regular observations
• To work in partnership with parents/carers
Skills/Experience required:
• NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education or equivalent as a minimum requirement.
• Early Years Professional Status is preferable but not essential.
• Significant experience of working with young children.
• Ability to develop professional relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues and
communicate effectively with all
• Ability to use own initiative and work flexibly
Salary paid at Local Government Scale - Band 2 – points 11-16
Actual salary between £11846 and £13406 depending on experience.
