Term-time only + 1 additional INSET day
8.30am to 4.30pm Monday - Thursday, 8.30 am to 4.00 pm Friday
Actual starting salary: £17,840 per annum
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, reliable and flexible person to join our hard-working, supportive and welcoming SEN team as soon as possible.
Duties will include providing classroom, 1:1 or small group support to students with additional needs or disability or specific medical needs.
The successful candidate will be:
Prepared to administer individual student's medication (after appropriate training)
Flexible, reliable and enthusiastic
Positive and professional
Educated to at least GCSE grade C in English and Maths
Able to communicate effectively with students, parents, staff and others
Ideally, experienced in supporting students with special education needs or disability

Visits to the Academy are welcome. The Academy is committed to safeguarding and the welfare of children and young people. The successful candidate will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check alongside the usual recruitment checks.
