We are seeking to appoint a motivated and committed teaching assistant to join the team at our creative, friendly primary school. The role will involve working alongside the class teachers to support learning in line with the national curriculum, codes of practice and school policies and procedures. It will also involve running evidenced based interventions.
The successful applicant will be someone with:
An understanding of children within an educational setting and the ability to support them effectively.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
A commitment to achieving the best for every child.
Be highly motivated.
Good standard of education: Maths and English GCSE grades A-C or equivalent
The ability to follow direction but also be proactive and use own initiative
Have experience of covering whole classes
Have experience with running interventions

Based in Great Dunmow, Essex, Dunmow St Mary's Primary School is a 2FE Foundation primary school with extensive grounds, including our own woodland area and outdoor classroom.
