We are seeking a highly-motivated, enthusiastic and flexible administrative assistant for our friendly, busy school. As an initial point of contact for parents, pupils, staff and visitors, you will need to have excellent communication skills, use discretion and initiative and be able to prioritise tasks. You will need to have good computer skills including Word, Excel, internet and e-mail. Whilst knowledge of the SIMS database software would be an advantage, training will be provided. Specific duties include compilation of the weekly newsletter, collation of dinner numbers and money, arranging educational visits, dealing with first aid, opening post, filing and assisting with the smooth running of the school.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We follow safer recruitment practice and appointments are subject to a full enhanced DVB check and reference. Applications will only be accepted on the ECC form or via this website.
Visits to the school are welcome.
