Learning Support Assistant (Special Educational Needs) Required a.s.a.p

Part time 16 ¼ hours per week - term time

Band 2 Local Government Scale

We require an experienced learning support assistant who is patient and caring to support a year 3 pupil with cerebral palsy and general learning difficulties, who at times will need personal care.

The post is for 16 ¼ hours during the mornings, term time only and will involve the delivery of a physiotherapy programme under the guidance of a professional.

Together with the above attributes, a good standard of English and Mathematics is required and a learning support qualification is desirable but not essential.

The governing body is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.

Visits to the school are strongly encouraged and applications are invited by the

closing date which is Monday 22^th September 2014.

Shortlisting will be done week beginning 29^th September 2014 and interviews will be held as soon as possible after that date.
