This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, Psychology graduate to join a forward-thinking and innovative team in this high-achieving 11-18 Academy. This is an ideal position for someone who is looking for an opportunity to eventually enter the teaching profession in this highly resourced area of our school curriculum. You will also teach some Sociology to highly motivated 15 and 16 year olds.

Gable Hall is a high performing Converter Academy in the North East of Thurrock and a Regional Centre of Excellence for Leadership and Innovation. We are judged good by Ofsted. In 2014 our GCSE A*- C (including English and Maths) was 74%. 100% of our students passed at least 1 GCE 'A' level equivalent. We are in the top 20% of schools nationally for best Value Added 2013. Our 1 A Level pass rate 100%, 2 - 97%, 3 - 90%. You will be joining a happy, very high achieving school.

About the schools: The Ortu Federation is made up of Ortu Corringham Primary School, Ortu Gable Hall School, Ortu Hassenbrook and the Ortu Stanford and Corringham Sixth Form Centre. Teaching opportunities are available from KS1 to KS5 across the Trust.
