Human Resources Manager 37 hours per week, Term time +2 weeks Band 4 (Point 26-30) £22,937 - £26,293 pro rata (Actual Salary £20,456-£23,449) Required for April 2015 The King John School is a heavily oversubscribed 11-18 mixed comprehensive of 2000 students, of which 360 are in the sixth form. The school enjoys an excellent reputation, and has been graded in September 2013 as 'Outstanding' across all key areas, based on the new Ofsted criteria. The school enjoys good staff retention and is wholly committed to continued professional development. We are looking to recruit a skilled and suitably qualified HR Manager to join our successful school. Responsible to the Headteacher and working closely with the Senior Leadership team, the HR Manager will provide guidance and support on all aspects of employment within the school. The successful applicant will manage the day to day operations of the HR function. We are seeking applications from HR professionals with experience of working in the HR field. The ability to draw upon HR best practice, technical expertise and pragmatism is an integral part of the role. The post holder will be required to work flexibly and autonomously and will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive and effective working relationships across the School. The successful candidate will handle a wide range of generalist HR issues and will be a self-starter who is confident in working on their own initiative.
