The Diocese of Chelmsford Sower Schools Trust is looking to appoint an outstanding and inspirational Headteacher to continue the journey of the school to 'Good' and beyond.

Great Clacton Church of England Junior School became an Academy in March 2014 as part of The Diocese of Chelmsford Schools Trust and has made some good progress in improving expectations, progress rates and attainment. There is more to do and the new Headteacher will build on the successes to date and continue to drive through effective school improvement strategies.

We have great relationships the parish of with St Johns and St Marks and work closely with local and MAT schools.
