ENGLISH TEACHER
WITH ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITY
KS3/4 INTERVENTION CO-ORDINATORS- £2000
Required from September 2013
Following the promotion of existing staff we are looking to appoint well-qualified and enthusiastic teachers to work within our thriving English department. The English Department is situated in a new classroom block with interactive whiteboards. We offer an excellent induction programme within a friendly and supportive environment and are committed to high quality leadership development at all levels. We offer a whole range of opportunities for all colleagues to develop their teaching skills and leadership potential within and beyond West Hatch.
These posts are not suitable for a newly qualified teacher. Applications are welcome from experienced teachers looking for career development. Candidates will need to be able to teach English at KS3/4 and 5. The KS3 Coordinator role requires experience in the delivery of phonics intervention. Currently we offer 3 A Level subjects in English; AQA English Language, AQA English Literature and AQA English Language and Literature. Candidates may be required to deliver Media Studies at GCSE and A Level.
