We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and knowledgeable individual who is passionate about working with children from the age of 3 months to 5 years, to work in a brand-new purpose-built Nursery with onsite parking with free electric charging points. Alternatively, X10 bus runs from Wickford town center directly into St Luke's Park.

The successful applicant must hold a full and relevant level 3 qualification. They must have excellent understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and have a keen belief in a child-centered approach to play and learning.

The position is full time, working 5 days a week between the hours of 7am - 6.30pm.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Successful applicant will need to be committed to providing a caring and supporting environment where the children feel safe, looked after and be able to thrive.

Be responsible for creating play and learning opportunities that support the children's learning.

Actively listening to the children's needs and responding in the right way.

Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding procedures and policies are always followed.

Work as part of a nursey team looking after babies and children up to the age of 5.

Work with our senior team leaders to ensure children and parents are supported.

Work closely with parents providing daily feedback on their child's day and providing support where required.

Having daily adventures with our children through interactive play, activities, reading and helping them with their curious minds through the learning curriculum.

The Successful applicant will need to commit to the delivering of high-quality childcare, under the supervision of the management team and act as a key person for a group of children; planning and leading exciting play and learning opportunities.
