Role:HLTA
Contract:Permanent, 39 Weeks per year
Hours:34 Hours : Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday : 8.15am - 12.15pm and 1pm - 4pm
Thursday and Friday : 8.15am - 12.15pm and 1pm - 3.30pm
Scale 5 Points 9-12
Annual Salary: £26,409 - £27,711 FTE (Actual salary £20805-£21830 pa)

Are you looking for an amazing opportunity to be a part of an incredible journey at Barnes Farm Primary School? We are looking for a HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) who can deliver lessons across the primary range (Reception to Year 6) to support PPA, cover when teachers are absent from school and release time for our teachers/leaders. This role will also include intervention work with small groups.
The right person will have the drive to support the children across the school to be the very best that they can be whilst inspiring a love of learning.
We are looking for a candidate who:
Has a HLTA qualification (Level 4 or equivalent)
Demonstrates a 'can do' attitude.
Is able to provide and deliver learning activities to whole classes in Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
Has a proven track record of delivering high quality interventions
Is committed to raising standards and meeting the needs of individual children
Is positive, enthusiastic and a real team player
Is self-motivated, resilient and able to work using their own initiative
Applicants must hold English and mathematics qualifications, at least GCSE Grade C or equivalent.
