Hours: 38.75 hrs per week (Term Time + 5 days) 7.45am - 4.30pm
Scale 2 point 3 Actual Salary £20,510
The Governing Body are seeking to appoint an experienced Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our busy office.
The successful candidate will undertake the following duties:
· Full reception duties at the front of the school
· Professionally dealing with parental queries via telephone, e-mail or face to face
· Monitoring the 'admin' e-mail account and dealing with/passing on e-mails as appropriate
· Producing standard form letters (i.e. school events, dress-up days, raffles etc)
· To be responsible for checking attendance at after-school clubs and contacting parents of children who have not attended to establish their whereabouts
. Keeping the 'School Money' system up to date
. Be responsible for funding of Nursery numbers and new intake
· Ordering stationery
· Checking-off deliveries
· Be responsible for the school's Inventory
· Photocopying of exam papers
· Assisting the Office Manager and Headteacher's PA with ad-hoc admin tasks as necessary
We are looking for a candidate:
With office administrative experience (school office experience preferable but not essential)
With knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, School Money, StudyBugs and SIMS (experience preferable but not essential)
With excellent communication skills and a welcoming, positive outlook
Who is efficient, versatile and able to work on their own initiative as well as completing tasks set by the Office Manager and Head of School
Who has an excellent telephone manner and can record and pass on accurate messages
Who is able to prioritise their own workload and plan effectively
Who can remain calm under pressure and have a positive, sunny disposition
Who is confident to administer first aid to pupils
Who will become an integral part of our Ryedene team
