Oakfield Primary School is a thriving 2 form entry primary school located in Wickford, Essex. Class Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated class teacher to join our talented team at Oakfield Primary School. As a class teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire our eager learners and foster a love of learning.

This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher early in their career who is eager to develop their skills further.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that promote a love of learning and intellectual curiosity
Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of all pupils, including those with special educational needs or English as an additional language
Effectively use formative and summative assessment to monitor progress and plan subsequent lessons
Manage behaviour positively, establishing clear routines and high expectations to ensure a safe and productive learning environment
Contribute to the wider life and ethos of the school, building positive relationships with colleagues and parents
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Commitment to ongoing professional development
Desirable Qualities:

Experience working in a primary school setting
Proven track record of delivering high quality teaching and learning
Creativity and innovation in lesson planning and delivery
Willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school

Salary: MPS 1-5
