Actual Salary: £26,873.00 to 28,770.00(Depending on experience)

We are looking for a Site Manager who will take pride in the management, maintenance and cleanliness of our school premises. At Westwood Academy, we work collaboratively as a team and therefore the successful candidate will be approachable, adaptable and have a 'can do' attitude to meet the needs of this fast paced, school working environment.

The successful candidate will be required to work 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 06.30 am to 09.15 am, 12:00pm to 13:30pm and then 15:00 pm - 18:15pm and on a Friday 06.30 am to 09.15 am, 12:00pm to 13:30pm and then 15:00 pm - 17:45pm.

This position has the opportunity for onsite residency in a 3 bedroomed detached house.

● The ability to prioritise, with a commitment to providing a high-quality service.

● Experience in building maintenance.

● The ability to be hardworking, punctual, and committed to keeping the school site safe, secure and clean and are willing to work as part of a dedicated team.

● Excellent timekeeping, are reliable and trustworthy.

● The ability to demonstrate an understanding of Safeguarding.

● Good communication and interpersonal skills.

● The ability to demonstrate knowledge and or experience of Health & Safety in the workplace.

● The ability to manage site security and be a key holder which requires occasional late evenings and weekend functions and regular lettings.

● Confidence in general maintenance and have a range of practical trade or DIY skills applicable to the role.

● The ability to solicit quotations to achieve best value for site works.

● The ability to undertake relevant training required for your role.

● The ability to overcome communication barriers and build rapport with individuals from a range of backgrounds.

● Effective organisational and interpersonal skills,enabling you to manage tasks efficiently and collaborate effectively with colleagues.

● The ability to work independently and take initiative,taking pride in your work and consistently seeking opportunities to contribute to the team's success.
