Actual Salary: £7,966.57 to £8,099.80

Westwood Academy are seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our dedicated and supportive Reception team. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a fundamental role in fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual, who enjoys using their own initiative as well as working as part of a team. Working 15 hours per week; Monday to Friday 08.45 am to 12 noon, term time only.

We would be delighted to hear from you if you:

· Have good literacy and numeracy skills with GCSE English and Maths grades A-C (4 and above).

· Are educated to NVQ Level 2 in learning support / early years or equivalent qualification or experience, desirable.

· Have experience working with children in an early year setting, desirable.

· Have excellent written and verbal communication skills,enabling you to effectively communicate with both children and adults.

· Have an understanding of the importance of social and emotional well-being and a commitment to nurturing a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

· Are adaptable to work within a small,specialised team supporting children with diverse needs.

· Have effective organisational and interpersonal skills,enabling you to manage tasks efficiently and collaborate effectively with colleagues.

· Have the ability to work independently and take initiative,taking pride in your work and consistently seeking opportunities to contribute to the team's success.

· Have the ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain composure in challenging situations.
