Merrylands Primary School and Nursery has an exciting opportunity for an experienced SEND Provision Manager to join our fantastic team as soon as possible.

The position is for 37 hours per week, 8:30am to 3:45pm with a 30 minute break, Monday to Friday. Term time only for 39 weeks a year (including 5 inset days)

Salary Scale 7 (Range 19 to 24) dependant on qualifications and experience. Actual Salary £26,118 to £28,902 per annum (April 2024 pay rise pending) includes paid annual leave which must be taken during school closure periods.

We are looking to appoint a SEND Provision Manager to work closely with the SENDCO and have particular and specific responsibility for High Needs SEND Pupils.

We are looking for a person who:

· has high expectations of the children and themselves with a passion for raising standards and attainment
· can think creatively to engage, enthuse and motivate children to learn
· is passionate about supporting all pupils, demonstrating empathy and understanding of different needs
· is confident and able to work with pupils with challenging needs, including social and emotional needs/behaviours
· has a good understanding of the primary curriculum and skills to assist pupils in developing a good standard of attainment
· has a good understanding of how to support children with pastoral needs
· is confident and able to support pupils in small groups and 1:1
· works well as part of a team and has a commitment to improving and developing their own practice.
