We are looking to expand our current workforce in September and are seeking proactive and inspiring early years practitioners; who are capable of using their initiative as well as working as part of a team to provide the best outcomes for all children.
At Tanglewood Nursery School we advocate child-led learning and follow the 'In the Moment' planning' approach. An understanding of this is essential!
You must be able to meet the individual needs of all children whilst remaining mindful of the whole group. You must be able to laugh and play like you mean it! You must be willing to jump in muddy puddles and go outside come rain or shine.
Our team is skilful in finding opportunities to extend ideas, provide challenge and encourage curiosity. Creativity and independence is encouraged through our well-resourced environment. Relationships with the children are key and we want to make every child feel welcome and special.

You MUST have a relevant Level 3/NNEB qualification to apply for this position.
37 hours per week during term time plus INSET days. Monday to Friday 8.15am-4.15pm (less 45mins for lunch) and one weekly 1 hour staff meeting.
Visits to the school are positively encouraged by prior arrangement

Information about the School
Tanglewood Nursery School is a well resourced maintained nursery school with an outstanding play area and forest garden for children aged 3-4. There are three classrooms and we have highly qualified teachers, nursery nurses and support staff. The school also has a speech and language centre.
Little Tanglewood has a purpose built building for children aged 2-3.
Tanglewood has a long tradition of child centred education where learning through play forms the basis for our children to become active and independent learners. We aim always to provide a happy, calm and secure environment where children can explore, investigate, reflect and try things out with confidence.
