Learning Support Assistant
Pay Range:Scale 3 (£23,500 - £23,893) (plus £988 Inner Fringe) pro rata
Actual Pay:£18,440 to £18,736
Hours/weeks: 32.5 hours per week/39 weeks
8:30am-3:30pm/30-minute lunch break (part time - mornings or afternoons also considered, but needs to still be Monday to Friday).
We are seeking to appoint an experienced, nurturing and flexible Learning Support Assistant to join our committed team ASAP. Responsibilities will include:
- Provide support and guidance to pupils in ensuring their learning, social, emotional mental health needs are supported in order to meet their full potential
- To work under the direction of our Inclusion Leader, implementing individual and small group interventions
The successful candidate must have current experience in EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 and also have experience implementing interventions. In addition, we expect that the successful candidate will have a recognised NVQ in Teaching and Learning in Schools or proven equivalent experience, as well as the relevant safeguarding training. Please note that only applicants with the relevant experience will be considered for the post.
This will be a permanent contract for 32.5 hours. Working hours will be between the hours of 8.30am and 3.30pm Monday to Friday (with 30-minute lunch break). There is also the opportunity to work either mornings or afternoons, but this must still be everyday, Monday to Friday.
