About the role:
Are you a qualified teacher looking to develop a second subject specialism in Science?
We require an enthusiastic teacher with the ability or willingness to teach Science at Key Stage 3 and eventually Science to GCSE. This exciting role, full or part-time, would be supported by a personalised training programme and an accredited subject enhancement course.
Notley High School will provide the opportunity for you educators and those supporting education to make a real difference in an environment that supports your professional development.
Make your next teaching position one in which you can thrive.
The Role
We are all primarily teachers of children before teachers of subjects. Central to this is knowing the child, building professional, nurturing and positive relationships and motivating students with and through your enthusiasm for Science.
Our ideal candidate may already have some experience of teaching Science or a subject where there are already curriculum links - PE for example. Alternatively, you may be primary trained and looking to move into secondary education.
You must be passionate about ensuring students succeed both academically and pastorally and be willing to develop your subject specialism 'on the job'.
An additional TLR or RnR may be available for the right applicant.
What you'll need to succeed
· A good understanding of adaptive teaching or a willingness to develop your skills in this area.
· A willingness to engage in high quality professional development and instructional coaching.
· A positive and enthusiastic attitude, motivated to inspire your students.
· A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
