We are looking to appoint a Catering Assistant to join our catering team for 31 hours & 15 minutes per week 7am to 1:45pm (6 hours 15 minutes a day + 30 mins unpaid break) for 38 weeks per year (term time only). Actual salary £13037.00 including outer fringe.
We are a large secondary school with busy service times; therefore speed and duty of care are essential. The ability to work well with staff and pupils is an important requirement of the job as well as being able to work on your own and as being part of a team.
The post will involve the following duties
Preparation and service of breakfast
Morning break & lunch service
General help in kitchen
Food preparation
Working on the till
Clearing up
Washing up
Some experience of working in a similar environment would be useful although training will be given if required
