Dear Colleague,
We are delighted that you are considering coming to join our team. As you apply to be our SENDCo and Designated Teacher for Looked After Children, we encourage you to contact us to arrange an informal conversation with me or our Deputy Headteacher - this can be during a visit to our school or by telephone, Zoom or Teams. We also suggest that you visit our website. You are welcome to contact me, directly, via head.stosyth-mistley@dcvst.org
All our team work together to help children develop well in every way. This is reflected in all sorts of things including:
· Strong academic and personal progress.
· Very positive Local Authority Inclusion Review, February 2024 and a very positive Challenge Partner Review, March 2024
· An exciting curriculum which offers children great learning opportunities in and out of school. These opportunities include going to see ballet at the Royal Opera House, two different residential trips, local trips, building Stone Age shelters, cooking and eating Stone Age food and a zoo day in school.
· Our children's strong development in PE, supported by our Sports Coach
· The work of our pupil groups - School Council, Play Leaders, Prefects, Worship Leaders and Team Captains.
We are seeking to appoint a colleague to come and join our friendly and effective team. We provide all colleagues with effective opportunities for professional development. If you come and join our team you will be joining one that works hard for the good of all our children and one that enjoys plenty of laughs, free tea and coffee, chocolates, all day breakfasts and 'chippy Fridays'!
This post is for a September 2024 start. Salary will be paid according to appropriate experience and qualifications.
