Level 3 Nursery Practitioner

Scale 4 Points7-8

£24,294 per annum pro rata

30hours per week x 51.5 weeks per year

Mondays toFridays 9.00amto 3.30pm

We are recruiting for an experienced and qualified Nursery Assistant for our beautiful nursery at St Clare's Catholic Primary School. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a wonderfully resourced, high-quality setting.

Duties of the role;

· To assist with the planning of the curriculum;

· To help to set up the playroom for the daily programme and to help tidy away at the end of the session;

· To act as a key worker to a small group of children, liaising closely with parents/carers and ensuring each child's needs are recognised and met;

· To advise the nursery manager of any concerns, e.g. over children, parents or the safety of equipment, preserving confidentiality as necessary;

· To teach children, offering an appropriate level of support and stimulation;

· To attend staff meetings;

· To attend in-service training courses and meetings as required;

The nursery, which opened in September 2021, caters for children aged 2-4. We are offering wrap-around care with a breakfast club and after-school club.
