Full Time Teaching Assistant required Key Stage 1 with lunch time supervision duties* (Monday to Friday, term time plus INSET days)
We are seeking to appoint a passionate, experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our established and successful team at our creative, friendly primary school. The role will involve working alongside the class teachers and SENCo team to support learning in all areas including Forest School. You will be responsible for assisting the learning and development of all pupils in class.
The successful applicant will be someone with:
An understanding of children within an educational setting and the ability to support them effectively
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
A commitment to achieving the best for every child
Be highly motivated
Good standard of education: Maths and English GCSE grades A-C or equivalent
The ability to follow direction but also be proactive and use own initiative
Preferably experience of with working with young children
An understanding of phonics would be desirable but not essential as training will be provided.

Based in Great Dunmow, Essex, Dunmow St Mary's Primary School is a 2FE Foundation primary school with extensive grounds, including our own woodland area and outdoor classroom.
