Actual salary (£20,827pa to £21,177pa)

37 hours per week. (Monday to Thursday - 7:00am to 3:00pm, Friday - 7:30am to 3:00pm)

Term Time plus Inset Days (39 Weeks)

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced cook to assist with the provision of a high quality food and beverage service at this large secondary school.

As the Head Cook, you will be at the heart of our kitchen operations, responsible for the preparation, cooking, and service of meals. You will ensure that each dish meets our exacting standards, following menu plans set by the Catering Manager. Your leadership will be essential in supervising kitchen staff during meal times, maintaining a seamless and efficient service.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced cook with strong leadership skills, a meticulous approach to hygiene and safety, and a commitment to providing exceptional food service

Experience of managing staff and running a busy kitchen would be desirable as the position will require the successful candidate to deputise for the Catering Manager when appropriate.
