Cleaner
17.5 hours per week (3.5 hours per day)
Term time plus a week in August (43.7 weeks per year)
Actual Salary: £9231 (£12.07ph)
We are looking to appoint an additional Cleaner to join our established team to care for the appearance and cleanliness of our school.
Applicants are asked to indicate on their letter of application their preferred hours of work. Any set time period of 17.5 hours between 14:30 and 18:30 to suit you
Previous experience of a similar role would be an advantage, however, not essential, as on the job training will be provided.
Applicants will have:
- An understanding of general cleaning processes
- A good understanding of Health and Safety
- Knowledge of cleaning regulations e.g. COSHH
- Ability to establish rapport and to maintain respectful and trusting relationships
- Ability to work effectively with other adults in the school
- Good organisational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines
