Required January or April 2024, a well-qualified, enthusiastic teacher of mathematics to join a strong, dedicated and dynamic team which has a unique and distinctive international curriculum and ethos. To be successful you will need to be a strong classroom practitioner with a commitment to delivering high quality teaching and learning. We are looking for teachers who aim to remove barriers to learning, communicate a passion for their subject that inspires, motivates and enthuses students about Mathematics. This position would be suitable for an Early Careers teacher.
In 2023, the Mathematics Department achieved 85% grades 9-4 at GCSE with 100% grades 9-1. It is also a very popular subject in our outstanding Sixth Form with 45% of the 6th form students studying a maths course. In 2023, 33% of the A level students gained A*-B grades and 71% of the IB students gained grades 7-5 (on both Maths Analysis and Maths Applications courses).
