Learning Support Assistant - EAL and Communication
Fixed Term to 31st August 2021
We are looking to appoint enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join our team of staff that are committed to supporting our pupils with learning difficulties and disabilities.The role will involve supporting students in lessons and delivering interventions to support EAL students, and students with speech, language and communication difficulties. The successful candidates will need to have GCSE qualification grade C/level 5 or above, or equivalent, in English and maths, and the ability to motivate and encourage students with learning barriers.
The pay band for the role is band 2 to mid-point (scp 3 to 5), which is £18,065 to £18,795.
The hours of work for the role will be 28 hours per week, Monday to Friday and this will be required term time, plus five staff training days (39 weeks in total).
The actual salary for the role is £11,615.21 to £12,084.57 (under 5 years' service) or £11,824.96 to £12302.81 (over 5 years' service).
