Working hours: 27.5 hours per week - 9.00am to 3.00pm (30 minute unpaid lunch break) Monday-Friday term time only.
Salary is Scale 4 or Scale 5 depending on experience.
The role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will champion high quality care, compassion and student dignity. You will work closely with the class teacher to share responsibility for the academic, physical, emotional and social development and well-being of our truly unique and wonderful children and young people.
About you:
You will act as an ambassador for both the school and Hope Learning Community, the Trust which we are part of. You will liaise with staff within the school in order to meet the needs of the students in your class. You will promote a professional and caring image whilst championing our school values, Respect, Excellence and Friendship. You must be patient, kind, enthusiastic with a good sense of humour and a willingness to learn.

We moved into a purpose built, specialist environment in 2015 and are fortunate to benefit from a suite of facilities to enrich the quality of provision for our students. With 345 students and rising, we are one of the biggest special schools in Essex and each day is very different from the day before!
