We are very lucky that the stork has visited Great Easton and our Reception/Year 1 teacher will be having a baby in March next year!
We are looking for a someone special to fill this vacancy - could that special someone be you?! We would happily consider a job share for the right person.
Our incredible children make our school a very happy place to be. We have amazing and supportive families, a brilliant and hard-working PTA and appreciative Governors who understand the hard work and dedication that is required to create and extra special school. We are constantly striving to deliver best practice in all aspects of school life.
Successful candidates will have a variety of onesies (for optional school sleepovers), a selection of Christmas hats (as this is one of our favourite times of the year!), active wear (children and staff are encouraged to look after their health and well-being and we like to get as much fresh air as possible, wellies (we are set in the heart of the countryside and enjoy outdoor learning).
We are incredibly proud of our school for so many reasons: our lovely parents are bonkers enough to walk to school dressed up as batman when their child gets full marks in a spelling test; our chickens were included in our whole school photo; and we have school dogs who put smiles on all our faces! For Valentines each year we treat the parents to a child-free night by offering a whole school sleepover - it is amazing fun; and we enjoy a family camping weekend every summer with a camp fire, freshly laid eggs for breakfast and lots of laughter and chatter!

Information about the School
We are a friendly and supportive, oversubscribed rural primary school and highly value our strong links with the local community. We were graded as good in our most recent Ofsted and outstanding for behaviour & safety of pupils, which reflects the hard work and commitment of our staff, pupils and governors. Online checks will be carried out prior to interview.
