Part time School Business Manager

Tendring Primary School is looking to appoint an experienced and appropriately qualified School Business Manager, with the vision and drive to implement effective systems, to work as a key member or our school leadership team.
We are looking for a skilled School Business Manager who will provide high quality financial management, lead business operations and our dedicated administration team, and contribute towards creating a sustainable future in which all in our school will thrive.
The successful candidate will need to be proficient in data management systems such as FMS and SIMS and have a good knowledge of MS Office software.
It is expected that the successful candidate will possess appropriate financial professional qualifications and experience.
Main areas of responsibilities will include:
- Provide strategic vision and leadership to all aspects of budget, finance and premises
- Prepare the annual budget
- Overall management and maintenance of the premises and grounds
- Manage and review contracts to ensure the efficient running of the school
- Formulate, monitor, implement and review the school's Health and Safety policy including all Risk Assessment procedures
- Regular reporting to Governors

Information about the School
Tendring Primary is small, popular school located close to the Suffolk/Essex Border, attracting children from a wide area across the Tendring Peninsular. We currently have 190 children on roll. The School is set in approximately a three acre site with original buildings dating back to 1896. The school has extended over the years to include new buildings and extensive outdoor learning facilities.
