An exciting opportunity has arisen here at St John's Primary School. We are looking to appoint a SENCo who has the National SENCo award or is prepared to undergo training.

The staff at St John's provide the best education for all. We are a Christian School who embrace the ethos and values of TPP (compassion and kindness, hope, and connection and belonging) alongside our school values.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, dedicated and experienced in various SEND needs. Particular experience with Autism and SEMH needs would be an advantage. They will be supportive of and embrace our strong Christian ethos.

The Role will include:

- Being part of the Senior Leadership Team

- Oversee the strategic direction and development of the school offer for SEND pupils alongside SLT

- Leading and managing provision throughout the school

- Effective implementation of statutory and regulatory framework

- Personalising learning for identified pupils

- Leading and managing support staff alongside SLT

- Good communication skills with all staff, pupils, parents and outside agencies

- Data analysis of pupil progress

- Successful application of statutory requests
