We are looking to appoint a member of staff to support a number of children in school who have medical needs which need close monitoring and timely interventions. Previous expereince would be useful but full training from the Nursing Team would be provided

The successful candidate(s) would be joining an established and successful team, initially based within our EYFS and Y1.

The ability to work as a team is vital, as is being able to think and act independently at times. The role will involve the monitoring of a condition via a mobile app, conducting finger-prick tests and responding to levels set out in the childrens' medical protocols.

There is flexibility within the role(s) to be either mornings (09:00 - 12:00) or afternoons (13:00 - 15:15) or full time (09:00 - 15:15)

Information about the School

At St Michael’s C of E Primary School, we recognise the vital role that we have to help shape the lives of the children we are privileged to work with. Following Jesus’ example, we put the children at the heart of all we do, knowing that they are our future. Through both explicit and implicit teaching and modelling of our school vision and by living it out in practice through our four Christian Values of Love, Integrity, Creativity and Resilience” we aim to create a community within our school and beyond, which is principled and start these children off on a journey in which they will always know that Christ will be with them.

We aim to inspire children to do their best in all aspects of their lives and celebrate all their successes. Andrew Cumpstey Head Teacher
