We are a friendly, one-form entry village primary school who is looking for an inspirational, enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher to join our supportive and committed team.
We are initially seeking to appoint an excellent practitioner full-time forSummer Term2025.
Experience of teaching inYear 6 is essential.
The preferred candidate will offer:

A passion for teaching and learning and ensuring that lessons are adapted to suit the needs of all children
Enthusiasm for teaching a progressive, broad and balanced curriculum using the school's curriculum progression maps
An ability to apply educational research regarding teaching and learning into the classroom environment e.g. Rosenshine's Principles of Instruction
A relentless focus on building positive relationships in and out of the classroom with children, parents and staff
A dedication to following the schools behaviour and relationship policy as we become a Trauma, Perceptive Practice (TPP) fully trained school
Creativity, flexibility and a passion for improvement
Positivity, a caring nature, a good sense of humour and effective teamwork skills

St Peter's C of E (VC) Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promotes the welfare of children and pre-employment checks including DBS, CBSL, LADO & Online checks will be carried out before any formal offers of employment are made. In line with the Department for Education's Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) 2024. A thorough induction including safeguarding training will take place before candidates work directly with children.
