Finance Assistant
Required ASAP
LGS Scale 5 Points 9-12 Actual salary £20,871.95 - £21,953.81 per annum
Term time only plus 5 INSET days and 5 days holiday working, 35 hours per week
Applications are invited from a well-motivated and enthusiastic person to work in our Finance Office. This is a key position within the school and applicants should possess very good financial skills with a sound knowledge of accounting, purchasing and reporting software.
The successful applicant will have the responsibility for the day to day financial functions of the school's private fund, gift aid account and ParentPay. A good working knowledge of Excel, MS Word and SIMS is essential. Experience of accounting software would be desirable such as FMS, Istek and Booking Pro, although full training will be given.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Successful applicants will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check and fitness to work declaration.
