Are looking for a dedicated and committed
SEND Learning Support Assistant
31.25 Hours per week (8.30-3.15pm Mon-Fri)
Thurrock Pay Scales (Point 4-10)
(Actual salary £13,999-£15,803)
Salary awarded depending on experience and qualifications
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our dedicated and hardworking team to support a pupil with complex needs. Experience of working with children who are have SEMH difficulties or who has experience in play therapy is essential to this post.
Suitable applicants will need to be able to work as part of a team following a structured programme of learning. Applicants should be organised and show initiative and flexibility, be patient and understand the very confidential nature of this role.
The successful candidate must have GCSE English and Maths at grades A-C or an equivalent qualification. Preferably the successful candidate will also be NVQ level 3 qualified and have experience or qualification of working with children with ASD. Experience of dealing with children with individual and complex needs is essential as is a caring attitude and commitment to the role.
