An excellent opportunity has arisen for an administrator to join our friendly and hardworking office team due to maternity leave. We are seeking to appoint a person who is dynamic, enthusiastic, reliable and with an eye for detail, to provide administrative support in our lovely school.
Successful candidates will present a positive, friendly and welcoming image of our school, interacting with parents, carers, colleagues and visitors. We particularly welcome applications from candidates who demonstrate a caring and patient approach with children.
A diverse set of skills are necessary which will enable you to be flexible and adapt to the needs of both the office team, staff, pupils and families. You must have excellent administrative and communication skills. Applicants must present a professional, friendly demeanour, demonstrate a flexible approach and have heaps of enthusiasm. The ability to use your own initiative will make you an ideal candidate, as will common sense, patience and excellent sense of humour.
GCSE English and Maths at a grade 4 or equivalent (C Grade) is required together with an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and the confident use of IT is essential. Some prior experience in finance administration would be an advantage.

The hours of work will be 22.5hrs per week, Monday to Friday, term time only. Please note flexible hours will be considered and the post is based in the school. We can offer an immediate start and the post will continue until Easter with the possibility of the role being extended depending on the needs of the school.
Band 5 Point 19 - Actual Salary £13.10 per hour - You will also receive holiday pay. Please note holidays must be taken during periods of school closures.
