The Christus Catholic Trust and the Local Governing Committee of this vibrant and successful school, wish to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic SENCO to join our friendly and dedicated staff team. You will lead SEND across the school and be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the provision and SEND team. St Thomas' is a popular school, located on an attractive site. It boasts an excellent local reputation and facilities which provides an engaging working and learning environment. We are a 3 form entry school, catering for around 630 pupils from a community which embraces diversity.

The suitable candidate will have/be:
● Part of the Senior Leadership Team
● A practising Catholic or will be willing to support the Catholic ethos of the school
● Innovative and reflective and committed to raising standards
● Have an in-depth knowledge of SEND and a SENDCo qualification
● Positive outlook and interpersonal skills
● Have effective time management and provide an efficient and effective SEND provision across the school in accordance with the policy
● High expectations of yourself and the children
