Early Years Practitioner required for the Nursery at Temple Sutton Primary School
Permanent Contract
Hours: 35 hours per week (rota basis will be discussed with applicant, times, days etc)
Term: 52 week contract (4 week statutory closures including BH & Additional holiday allowance)
Salary scale:Level 4 point 6, £23,893 FTE per annum
£22,601.49 actual salary.
Our ever busy, growing nursery has a vacancy for an Early Years Practitioner. This position requires the individual to have a minimum level 3 qualification in childcare and education. A certificate in paediatric first aid and food hygiene and the 0-1 baby unit element would be desirable.
The role includes working within the ethos of the Learning In Harmony Trust and providing a stimulating environment, where children and families feel valued. To ensure the wellbeing of all young children and support their access to learning (including those with additional needs) and meet the individual children's needs, through play and learning opportunities and general care.
Our nursery has been rated OUTSTANDING since 2010 and our childcare was rated OUTSTANDING in July 2014. With a highly experienced team you will be provided excellent opportunities to continue your professional development in this field, should you be successful.
