We are looking for an experienced Administrator to work 26.25 hours per week, 8.15 am to 1.30 pm term time only.

This is a one year fixed term contract commencing in December 2024.

We currently have 23 classes split over 2 sites and the successful candidate will work at our Boston Avenue site although they may be required to work at either site.


The successful candidate will:

· have a helpful manner, calm disposition and a methodical, well organised approach.

· be required to work in a calm, courteous and effective manner.

· need to be self-reliant, energetic and able to prioritise.

· have good communication skills

· be able to work as part of a team and individually

· have good IT and communication skills and ideally school experience although this is not essential.

All appointments are subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS clearance, medical questionnaire and satisfactory references.

St. Mary's Primary school has a happy atmosphere, nice children and hard-working, experienced staff.

Hours: 8.15 am to 1.30 pm 5 days per week (26 hours and 15 minutes per week) Monday to Friday.

Scale: Range Level 2 point 4 to Level 5 point 9 (pro rata)

Annual actual salary: £13,923 pa (point 4, £12 per hour) to £15,106 pa (point 9, £13.02 per hour).
