Learning Support Assistant (LSA) (HLTA-qualified considered)

LSA - starting at Point 4 (or current role point considered) - 32.5 hours per week; 0830-1530

44 weeks per year (term time only does not include inset days) Actual salary £17,133.20

We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly and hard-working team. A strong, existing HLTA would be considered.

We are a caring and supportive, two-form entry Catholic school in Southchurch[LC1]. We are looking for:

● an enthusiastic and motivated person who has experience of working in a school

● an excellent team worker who can be flexible when needed

● proactive, skilled adults who can interact with pupils and support their development with love and care

● for existing HLTAs, someone who is confident teaching a whole class of children and is able to be flexible and adaptable

● a person who reflects on their practice and aims to explore ways of improving

● someone to support the teaching of a broad and balanced curriculum aimed at helping pupils achieve their full potential in all areas of learning

● contribution to the planning of differentiated learning activities for individuals, delivering activities inside or outside the classroom

● role to include support at lunchtime

● somebody who is happy to support the loving, Christian ethos of the school
