Chelmsford College is seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Multi-skills Trades Tutor/Assessor who will support students and apprenticeships throughout the Built Environment and Sustainable Technologies (BEST) department. The ideal candidate will have the competence to assess on the Bricklayer and Property Maintenance apprenticeship standards.
Following the completion of our new BEST Centre, we are developing a new and exciting curriculum offer in Construction trades including Brickwork, Carpentry and Joinery, Painting and Decorating and Plumbing. This role will support that our growth plans in apprenticeships and adult training courses.
As a flexible and proactive professional with an excellent understanding of Health and Safety, you will work be responsible for working apprentices and their employers to assess and provide off the job training in a range of multi-skills trades. There will also be an opportunity to work with adult learners as part of our Sector-based Work Academy Programmes.
