About the Role
The successful candidate will be expected to carry out a wide range of first line IT support tasks and customer service activities related to the IT Helpdesk. You will provide first line IT support for staff across the college which will include working with the Helpdesk system. The duties will include the use of IT applications, systems and dealing with enquiries on the telephone, via email and face to face.
What we are looking for
This is a hands-on role supporting the staff and students within our Harlow and Stansted Airport Campuses. This will be a varied role with a focus on first line support in a small but supportive team, requirements;
- Experience of Customer Service in an IT environment
- Knowledge of Trouble shooting IT issues
- Experience Building Laptops and installing software
- Using a Helpdesk system to monitor and record call
- Maths and English at Level 2 or above
