Technician - Hospitality and Catering

Starting Salary £6,843.69 per annum

Located in Harlow College, with occasional visits to Stansted Airport College

Hours: Wednesday to Friday pm shift 12 hours per week 1pm - 5pm

Term time only

Permanent

About the team

The Hospitality and Catering team are pivotal in providing an excellent curriculum and customer focused catering service to the College

About the role

This is a hands-on role and the post holder will be involved with the preparation and cleaning of kitchens and equipment for curriculum delivery. And our Skylight Training Restaurant. As a Technician you will be involved in all aspects of the hospitality service and support of the curriculum delivery.

What we are looking for

  • Flexibility to travel between our Stansted Airport and Harlow campus
  • Have a passion and commitment to provide excellent service to staff and students
  • Have a flexible and positive approach
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Have an understanding of the Food Hygiene Regulations
  • Utilise digital technology including a basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have proven experience in a catering role.
