We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated and responsible Caretaker / Handyman who would like to be a part of and strengthen our hard-working and supportive premises/estates team; ensuring the school's environments are maintained to a high standard at both our Great Warley and Hutton Manor sites.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth running of the schools ensuring they remain clean, safe and secure. You will need to be able to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritise, problem solve and communicate clearly and effectively, providing excellent customer service to all members of our Woodlands Community
The post will involve carrying out general caretaking duties, including but not limited to the security and supervision of the site and related equipment, porterage, cleaning and carrying out a range of repairs and maintenance tasks throughout our sites.
The successful candidate should have experience of working in a similar role, possess skills in DIY (knowledge of building maintenance, carpentry, plumbing and electrical work).
The working pattern includes early and late shifts based on a rolling rota across both of our sites. Optional weekend shifts are available to carry out work that cannot be done during normal operational hours. Flexibility is a must as the position involves rota and shift work. Early shift 7.00 am to 4.00 pm and late 9.00 am to 6.00 pm.
