Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking for an incredible opportunity to make a difference?
Canonium Learning Trust is seeking a passionate ECT to join a vibrant and supportive team at Mistley Norman CofE Primary School as we embark on an exciting new chapter together.
Mistley Norman Church of England Primary School is proud to be joining the Canonium Learning Trust family in the Autumn Term. We are renowned for delivering educational excellence in nurturing and supportive learning environments. A brand new school building is in the pipeline, set to be completed within the next few years as part of the DfE's school rebuilding programme, so this is a unique chance to be part of a transformative journey.
Mistley Norman has faced some significant challenges in recent years. In 2022, the school building was one of the first schools nationally to be affected by structural issues related to reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete (RAAC), necessitating the permanent closure of the school site. As a result, pupils were relocated to Two Village Church of England Primary School. This period has been a difficult adjustment for our pupils, parents, and staff, but it has also brought our community closer together and strengthened resilience.
Why Join Us?
A Fresh Start on Our School Site!
In the Autumn Term, the school will be returning to the original school site with high-quality, modern modular classrooms that provide an optimal learning environment. This fresh start marks a significant milestone for the school community.
Small Classes and Group Sizes!
As the school grows back to full capacity, you'll have the opportunity to teach smaller classes and groups. This allows for more personalised attention, developing strong relationships with your pupils and tailoring your teaching methods to meet their individual needs.
Learn from Experienced Teachers!
You'll be joining a team of dedicated and experienced teachers who are eager to share their knowledge and support your professional growth. This collaborative environment is perfect for an ECT looking to develop their skills and build a strong foundation for a successful teaching career.
Exciting Career Development!
Being part of the Canonium Learning Trust means you'll have access to extensive professional development opportunities. Our trust is committed to nurturing talent and helping teachers flourish through ongoing training and support.
Be Part of a Transformative Journey!
This is a rare opportunity to be at the forefront of our school's transformation. Your contributions will have a lasting impact on the school community and the lives of our pupils, making this a highly rewarding role.
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking an ECT who:
- Is passionate about education and dedicated to providing the best possible learning experiences for their pupils.
- Has a positive and proactive approach to teaching.
- Is eager to learn and grow professionally.
- Is committed to working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.
- Is ready to embrace the exciting changes and opportunities that come with joining a dynamic and forward-thinking school.
