We are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to work in our post-16 enhanced provision near the school site at Elmstead Market, Colchester. This provision offers a bespoke learning programme to a very small group of learners which is life skills based. It is designed for learners whose needs extend beyond what can be met within our main sixth form (based in Jaywick Lane, Clacton-on-Sea).
The successful candidate will work as part of a small team aiming to inspire and encourage learners to develop essential skills for learning and life, facilitating a supportive and safe learning environment. Much of the curriculum is community and activity based.

We provide education for students with moderate learning difficulties, including those with autistic spectrum needs, aged 16-19.
